Nutcracker Village

We were honored to be invited to perform at Tustin's Nutcracker village along with the Festival Ballet Company in December 2017! This free family event included preview performances of the Nutcracker by Festival Ballet, holiday dances by Freckled Frog, and a kid-friendly village with a ballerina meet and greet, face painting, vintage ballet costume displays, and craft activities. We loved participating and look forward to working with them in the future!

Dancers Against Cancer

This past December at our winter recital we

introduced a fundraiser to our audience in hopes

to raise as much money as we could for

Dancers Against Cancer. The “I’m A Dancer

Against Cancer” campaign was founded in 2012 in

a response to the loss of a young dancer from cancer. Since then, it has become a beacon of hope in the dance community, uniting dancers all over the nation. By taking donations from our audience for raffle tickets we were able to raise over $1,000 for the amazing cause!

Adopt a Family Giving Tree

spotted dog dancer - leaping

Each year our studio adopts a less fortunate family and does what we can to make their holiday season one they will never forget! Each location sprouts a giving tree with little tags that

our dancers and their parents can choose

from. The tags are adorned with the names of the family members and their holiday wishes. Together, our studio families gift our adopted family with everything on their wishlist to make their Christmas morning extra special! We love this holiday tradition and look forward to helping a family in need every year!

Placentia Heritage Parade

Placentia Heritage Parade

Each year Placentia celebrates its past, present, and future at the Placentia Heritage festival, which

was started back in 1965. The festival includes

many festivities, and this past year we were a

proud part of the parade! With our Cat in the Hat

recital approaching, we had our kids get all dressed up and parade down the boulevard spreading smiles and cheer on our Dr. Seuss-inspired float! We have been a part of the Placentia community for many years now and it was a great way to show our love and support to the area by participating in this wonderful event.

Tustin Tiller Days

Tustin Tiller Days has been an annual event in Tustin since 1957. The three-day festival celebrates Orange County’s agricultural heritage while providing an opportunity for local non-profit organizations to promote their cause and raise much-needed

funds. Being a part of the Tustin community, we were excited to be given the opportunity to participate in the 2017 Tustin Tiller Days event!  Our dancers from Freckled Frog and LEAP Academy went out in front of the crowd and dazzled the audience with their performances. We can't wait for this year when we hope to be invited back for another chance to participate in this fun event!

Orange County Fair

Orange County Fair

The Orange County Fair takes place every year in July and August and we are lucky enough to be invited

to perform there frequently. We take kids and

have them show off all the dances from the

previous recital on the stage for all to see. Once done

the kids and their families get to enjoy the fair for the rest of the day! We look forward to our next opportunity to perform there and hope we get some eager volunteers to come out and rock the stage!
